Born from the success encountered in the practice of videomodeling, the software offers a database of role models for learning by imitation of personal autonomy, home and community.The videomodeling is a technique for acquiring comprehensive activity that finds its strengths in breaking social anxiety derived from human contact, in view of repeated action always the same and the use of images as a means of communication .The application is built on two key objectives:• cope with the needs of parents and therapists to have a database of videos and ready-made method to ensure their effectiveness;• ensuring an independent and constructive use of the tablet by the child (or adult) with autism spectrum disorders.To meet these requirements the software is divided into two main sections: a family area and an area dedicated to children.The family area is divided into three specific sections:VIDEO: database with the default video divided into videomodeling and video prompting the ability to add their own videos and share them with the professional to obtain feedback on their effectiveness and functionality.PLACES: section where you can take pictures of their own environments and then insert links to videos of actions that take place in that context.PERFORMANCE: area intended to record the learning performance, further divided into two parts:• communications: a kind of notebook where the professional reports information about the therapy;• statistics: graphs that visually returns the progress of the autonomies acquisitions.The software as a whole aims to create a structured connection between family and professional, taking advantage of the power of video to guide children towards a greater degree of autonomy in small daily actions.
